5.Extraction:

         In  the   method   computing  the   address  uses  only  a  part  of  the  key.Every  time  only some  part  of  the  key  is  used.

Example:

           Consider   from  a   student  id  928324312,

The  method   may  use   1^st  4  digits  as   9283

The   method  may  use   last   4   digits  4312   or

The   combination  of   1^st  two  and   last  two  digits  as  9212  (or)

Any  other  combination.
